SCOTT at Velo Park 2009!
 Representatives of Fischer Sports Gmbh Austria in Russia, FISCHER SPORT Company, became the exclusive distributor in Russia of SCOTT bikes, famous bicycle brand, on July 1st 2008. As manufacturer of high-quality, technological and innovative equipment for cross-country and alpine skis, the Company has been meticulously choosing its partner among the vast number of bicycle brands in the World.
FISCHER and SCOTT cooperate for more than 10 years and have recently begun the development of a bicycle branch!

New folding bikes GIANT Halfway and GIANT Clip on VELO PARK 2009
 You will not trust yourself!Just ride new GIANT HALFWAY and Clip bikes - 100 per cent of convenience and comfort. Light folding bikes may be placed even in the smallest baggage compartment and will never cause any problems being transported by air. Please, pay special attention to the design of these R20;one halfR21; bikes. No any bike can be folded to the size of Halfway and Clip.
Rather popular beforetime folding bikes GIANT Halfway series is now added with two more modifications such as RS with rear shock absorber and CITY equipped with fenders, baggage rack and soft cover intended for the bikes transportation.
They will start to sell absolutely new models of folding bikes CLIP series at the beginning of 2009. These bikes are made basing on Halfway design and absorbed the best qualities of it (one-side hubs and frame as well as folding handle-bar). That is light AluxX frame with two durable locks which is used in new CLIP model. Such bikes are universal ones and they will suit to a person of different sex, age and height. Safe 20 inches wheels make it possible to stand on foot completely. Seven/eight speed transmission will make riding much more comfortable in relief country.
Light GIANT CLIP bikes may be folded to incredibly small size. Frame is folded into two parts; it is possible to make both handle-bar and pedals more compact ones. All the above makes it possible to carry your CLIP model in the trunk of the smallest car.

Go for the gold
|
The Russian team came back with 5 gold medals and 1 silver medal from the MTBO race in Latvia that took place in the end of September.
Experience, motivation, desire to succeed and of course the reliability of the Cube bicycles powered the success of the 54th sport school “Orienta” through its team leaders Tatiana Regina and Gregory Medvediev; They showed perfect results not only in racing events but also in relay race events. This proves that the team is very strong and are ready to take on any challenge.
We congratulate our champions and wish them all the best of luck for the coming events.

Suntour at Velo Park 2009
The Japanese manufacturer of suspension forks " SR SUNTOUR " increases the
manufacture. In the eginning of this year the company made more than 20000
forks in day! Japanese do not hide the interest to the Russian market.
After participation in Velopark 2008 they have lead congress of
distributors of all European countries near Munich in July, 2008. At this
forum Russia was represented by company Alna-Bike - the official distributor
of production " SR SUNTOUR " to Russia. The novelty of 2009 - a fork "AXON"
with tiny electronic lockout, will be presented at exhibition Velopark 2009
in February.

MTB championship results
Evgeniy Pechenin (Format-Udmurtia team) took the 30th place being the best among Russian riders at the 2008 Val Di Sole ITA MTB World Championship
The Championship was held in the Italian Alps (Val Di Sole, Italy). The temperature topped 40 throughout all the race days.
Being 91st on the start Evgeniy spurted to the 30th place on the finish. Now he’s amidst top 50 world racers managing to keep the lap with the race leader. Evgeniy Pechenin performed with the best time among Russian National Team with 2 hours 11 minutes and 05 secs result (40.7-kilometer run) just dropping behind the race leader Christoph Sauser from Switzerland by 12 minutes 39 seconds. On the whole more than 120 cross-country men elite competed.
One more FUD team rider Timofey Ivanov competed in the 2008 Val Di Sole ITA MTB World Championship. Timofey Ivanov (FUD Juniors rider) fell ill on the race eve but nevertheless jumped into the vigorous struggle. As a result he came 71st having 84 start position.

News from RUSSBIKE
  
In order to properly develop the RUSSBIKE brand on Russian Market and testing its product in extreme mountain conditions, in April 2005 Russbike team was created! Until today the team has already won many cups in different kinds of bike sport categories such as bike-cross, downhill, dirt-jump, bike-freestyle, in Moscow and its suburb, St.-Petersburg, Dombay and Patigorsk! Its important to mention, that between 2005 and 2007, the team became the champion and main price winner of Russian Cup and Russian Championship.
The team does not only take part in competitions but also in performance shows, master classes, TV shootings and promotions for magazines and press, it is a big part of their life. In "Mountain Bike Action Russia" was published a series of editorials; the idea of this publications was to share the experience with beginners! In 2007 in Lipeck took place competitions created to support RUSSBIKE and the team members.
Design and geometria of bicycles were developed and testing sportsmen of the team during all season testing!

Velo Park 2008 – where the world rolls!
 The active season is its height for all bicycle fans. Welcome to Velo Park 2008!
 III Moscow International Bicycle Trade Show Velo Park has finished its work.The exhibition allowed producers, dealers and official distributors of world brands to present new models of bicycles, components, spare parts and accessories, to arrange business meetings with regional partners, sports shops and to demonstrate their products on stream to a final buyer.
